Responsibilities
As a Welder/Fabricator at InterGroup, you will work on diverse and impactful projects. Your tasks will include:
- Fabricating and welding structural components for heavy vehicles and equipment
- Building subframes, toolboxes, brackets, and hydraulic system parts
- Modifying chassis, decks, and bodywork for specialized applications
- Collaborating with mechanics and engineers to build vehicles from the ground up
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and performing required fabrication or repairs
- Operating fabrication tools such as brakes, shears, cutters, and grinders
- Ensuring all builds meet safety, durability, and compliance standards
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and workspace in proper condition
- Following strict health and safety guidelines during all operations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Strong MIG, TIG, and arc welding abilities
- Previous work experience with trucks or heavy machinery
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent training
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to high-quality workmanship

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
