Responsibilities
As a Patrol / Community Support Professional, your responsibilities will include:
- Patrolling assigned areas to maintain safety and deter unlawful activity.
- Responding promptly and effectively to emergencies and incidents.
- Engaging with community members to provide support, guidance, and reassurance.
- Assisting individuals in need, including working respectfully with unhomed individuals.
- Monitoring situations and exercising sound judgment to de-escalate potential conflicts.
- Working alongside K9 teams and supporting K9 operations when required.
- Completing incident reports and communicating clearly with supervisors and team members.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to perform patrol duties and respond to demanding situations.
- Willingness to work full-time in an on-site role.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
