Responsibilities
- Develop and manage safety policies and programs to meet company and site safety goals.
- Train and supervise workers on safety procedures and best practices to prevent injuries and accidents.
- Coordinate first aid treatment and medical evacuation in case of serious injury or illness.
- Inspect the site regularly to identify potential hazards that may harm people or property.
- Maintain accurate records of accidents, near-misses, and safety observations to identify risks and implement solutions.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections, including lifts, cranes, scaffolding, and electrical equipment.
- Provide first aid to injured workers when necessary, using medical knowledge and basic procedures.
- Monitor the work environment to ensure compliance with safety standards by employees and contractors.
- Review and improve safety procedures and equipment to ensure adequacy for specific tasks.
- Conduct on-site safety training sessions and provide feedback on performance to improve safety culture.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE and at least 2 years in construction supervision.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and procedures.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Relevant certifications in health, safety, and environmental management are a plus.
