Based in Doha, Qatar, this position focuses on overseeing and continuously improving health and safety practices across premises and project sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting employees, customers, and stakeholders by minimizing occupational risks and preventing accidents.

Responsibilities
As a Health & Safety Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety plans in line with organizational budgets and timelines
- Communicating safe operational practices and ensuring compliance with safety policies, statutory regulations, and guidelines
- Reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Identifying workplace hazards and conducting comprehensive risk assessments
- Acting as an in-house trainer for safe working practices, procedures, and site operations
- Delivering safety induction training for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff
- Maintaining accurate training and competency records
People Management Responsibilities include:
- Allocating work within the health and safety function and nominating employees for training
- Conducting performance reviews and managing leave and overtime efficiently
- Supervising direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and performance support
- Participating in hiring and promotion recommendations
- Holding regular performance meetings and fostering a positive, inclusive work culture
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field
- NEBOSH Level 6 certification
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience
- Experience within the manufacturing industry is preferred
- ISO-certified Lead Auditor qualification
- Valid driving license is an advantage
