A leading convenience store in Muscat is seeking a Food Supervisor to oversee daily food operations, ensure high standards of food safety, and deliver excellent customer service. This role combines hands-on food handling, staff supervision, and operational support to maintain smooth store functions.

Responsibilities
- Food Operations & Safety: Handle fresh, chilled, frozen, and ready-to-eat foods. Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and temperature controls, while ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Multitasking Store Support: Assist in daily operations, including serving customers, food prep, POS operation, and covering team members when needed.
- Stock & Inventory Control: Receive and inspect food deliveries, manage stock levels, monitor waste, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Team Supervision: Supervise food-handling staff and cashiers, assign tasks, manage shifts, train staff on SOPs, and enforce hygiene standards.
- Customer Service: Ensure fast, friendly service, handle feedback, promote food offers, and maintain quality standards.
- Compliance, Safety & Loss Prevention: Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, support audits, and minimize theft and food wastage.
Requirements
- Education: High school certificate or equivalent; food safety certification preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years in food retail, convenience stores, or quick-service environments; supervisory experience preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with food handling, POS systems, and stock rotation.
