Responsibilities
As an HSE Officer, your key responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with OETC HSE policies and update procedures when necessary.
- Advise on applicable HSE legislation and monitor compliance.
- Manage HSE activities in alignment with company objectives.
- Coordinate and perform internal audits and inspections.
- Support audit preparation, validate reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in managing and promoting HSE training programs.
- Collate monthly HSE statistics and monitor performance improvements.
- Develop health, safety, and environmental programs for regulatory compliance and safe operations.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all projects and teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant HSE experience.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or IIRSM certification is mandatory.
- Prior experience in OETC or similar utility projects is preferred.
