Responsibilities
- Perform all food and beverage service tasks in accordance with the hotel’s standard performance manual.
- Greet, seat, and serve guests in a professional, discreet, and personalized manner.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu to provide accurate recommendations and assistance to guests.
- Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverages consistently.
- Handle guest complaints and queries efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards within the outlet and service areas.
- Ensure proper setup and organization of service areas before, during, and after service (mis-en-place and mis-en-scène).
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage of food and service equipment.
- Actively apply upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or vocational training in Food & Beverage service.
- Previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
- Good command of the English language; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of restaurant service standards and guest handling procedures.
