Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and maintain wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings within the resort
- Perform carpentry work including hanging doors, setting windows, and installing door hardware
- Carry out layout work for stairs, common rafters, and formwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Conduct repairs, remodeling, and maintenance tasks as required
- Estimate materials and ensure efficient use of resources
- Follow quality control, cost control, and safety standards at all times
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of construction and remodeling practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle carpentry tasks
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and material calculations
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
