Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of banquet menu items according to hotel standards
- Support senior chefs during large-scale events, weddings, and conferences
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet luxury service expectations
- Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist with food storage, labeling, and stock rotation
- Work collaboratively with the banquet and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
- Support setup and breakdown of banquet kitchen operations as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel, banquet, or high-volume kitchen environment
- Basic culinary training or relevant certification preferred
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Doha, Qatar
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen
