The Production Employee (Electric Controller) position in Dubai, UAE, is a hands-on role responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing fire pump controllers. Responsibilities
Lay-out & Mounting
- Verify kit of materials for each project according to the project’s BOM
- Select and install appropriate components on the mounting plate as per engineering instructions
- Complete any special mounting instructions requested by customers
Wiring
- Verify panel mounting plates
- Execute electrical wiring according to standardized schemes and instructions
- Perform control wiring, power wiring, and additional wiring options as required
Box Preparation
- Prepare controller boxes by installing handles, labels, lights, feet welding, transformer studs, and any customer-specific options
Final Assembly
- Verify box preparation and cabling of panel plates
- Perform mechanical assembly of plates in the controller box
- Complete final assembly including interconnections, power wiring, transformer wiring, emergency handle installation, handle mechanism installation, and label installation
- Perform pre-testing tasks depending on experience
Internal Relations
- Report to the production supervisor and collaborate with department members
- Support cross-functional tasks and adapt to various production functions as required
