Responsibilities
As a solo Flight Attendant with Rex Airlines, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the cabin independently and ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Performing pre-flight equipment and security checks.
- Making in-flight announcements and providing food & beverage service.
- Handling various situations that may occur during flights while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Performing cleaning duties and ensuring the cabin is prepared for each flight.
- Delivering personalized and attentive service to passengers on every journey.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Be no taller than 173 cm.
- Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (completed within the last 3 years).
- Demonstrate one of the following:
- Completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or
- Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
- Worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
- Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.
- Be able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which includes a police security check.
