Responsibilities
As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Safely transporting students and staff between designated pickup points and school facilities
- Operating assigned routes according to schedules
- Ensuring compliance with UAE traffic laws, DOT, ADEK, and school transport policies
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintaining bus cleanliness and reporting mechanical issues immediately
- Supporting loading/unloading procedures and ensuring seatbelt use
- Participating in mandatory training and safety sessions
- Demonstrating professional conduct while safeguarding student wellbeing
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle (Category 6) driving license
- Minimum two years of professional bus driving experience, ideally within a school setting
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi routes and regulations
- Clean driving history
- Basic English communication skills (Arabic and Hindi/Urdu are an advantage)
- Physically fit, polite, dependable, and student-supportive
