Responsibilities
As a Team Member, Cultivation, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring crops continuously for plant health, pests, and diseases.
- Releasing biological control agents as part of the Integrated Pest Management program.
- Communicating and escalating crop or production issues to relevant team members.
- Performing cultivation tasks such as pruning, defoliation, crop maintenance, harvesting, and cycle turnover.
- Following Aurora’s SOPs and complying with Health Canada’s Cannabis Act, ISO standards, OHSA, and GMP requirements.
- Safely lifting up to 25 kg (50 lbs) as required.
- Supporting other cultivation duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Willingness to undergo a medical screening as part of the hiring process.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Health Canada security clearance is considered an asset.
- Completion of a Grower Pesticide Safety Course is an advantage.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical endurance for repetitive tasks, lifting, and extended standing.
- Ability to work in warm environments ranging from 20°C to 32°C.
- Comfort with repetitive hand, wrist, and forearm movements.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts when required.
- Comfort climbing ladders and working around plant materials.
